I recently received my Samsung Galaxy watch 9 on the 5th of August,2026. I do not even know from where to start. This is my first ever smart watch, and this review might not go through everthing. I am just giving my honest opinion. The customization, comfort, and simplicity of using this watch has been a life changer for me. I am able to chose whichever image, stats, clock type is very great, as I can always change my options to have a different look at the tap of hand. I also have the watch on when going to sleep, so I can get tracks to how my oxygen intake, sleep score, and energy will be for the next day. The watch looks and feels super durable, and straps do not move an inch if somone tries pulling them. The Battery is great so far, as I do need to give the watch sometime to learn and adapt to my usage, habits, and some updates that go in the background for it. I try to charge the watch around 25-30% to full, so I can have it ready for sleep tracking. The accuracy of the watch is 100% on point with my phone, I can always feel confident when getting the exact time from it when my phone is out of reach, or when driving. Overall, it's a very great for watch for daily usage, stylish design, affordable, and so comfortable that I do not even feel it on my wrist.

After considerable consideration and talks with my fiancée, it became clear to us that it was. I previously had the galaxy watch 7, and honestly I was amazed with how well it worked. There were somethings I missed out on that the new models had but wasnt a big issue for me. If you can get a major discount on the watch like I did, the galaxy watch 9 is EASILY worth it. Im not too sure how it holds up against the 8, but I havent been let down. Also the battery life on this thing is really good so far. Thats with all the settings turned on and it lasts 2 days on a single charge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im very health conscious and wanted the latest and greatest that Samsung had. I chose this watch because it had all the latest features. Well I have found that with all these new features you give up battery life. The watch has no battery life at ALL. I have to charge it daily. I will go to bed at 100% and wake up with it between 75 - 80% battery life. When i go to the battery settings its shows that the battery life is 1d 11h. I previously had the watch 7 and it easily lasted 4 days or 5 if i shut down the features. I guess with all the new features and the AI its just not worth it at this time. Im disappointed as i had such high hopes.

I traded in my galaxy watch 8 due to the promise of better battery life. I've had my watch for about a week and need to charge it in the morning and before sleeping. I changed all of my settings for better battery usage. I bought this because of all that it offers but if I can't last a day I'm not sure it's worth it. Very disappointed. It's a good watch that has many solid and useful features. I hope this major issue can be resolved.

This year they increase the battery size and I was a huge fan of that. I also like the fact that they increase the brightness of the watch screen in addition to the battery size so the watch face is now brighter. My last Galaxy watch survived a motorcycle accident so clearly they are built tough and I will continue to get a new watch when they release as I look forward to new features. I would be a huge fan of eliminating the bezel around the watch in the future so they could increase the screen size without increasing the watch size.

I bought this to be able to track health. Pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable. The display is amazing in full sun. Battery is pretty good considering always on display.. solid 1.5 to 2 days. Durability remains to be seen.. but it looks like shouldn't be a problem. I love all the watch faces you can choose from, but even then how even the one you end up choosing you can customize the layout. Accuracy heartbeat, steps, mileage body mass index etc all seem to be pretty much spot on. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am a Samsung fan since the Note 2, and after trying various watches I decided a more minimalist watch since my Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2024 just started feeling too big and heavy for me. I chose to upgrade because this watch has the new Snapdragon processor, it has a bright display, and all the features I've come to expect in a daily wear Watch. The operating system is smooth and efficient enough to last me throughout the whole day. It is lightweight and very stylish especially the white color it goes with my new Fold 8. I still need to dive deeper into the health features but already did one night of the sleep apnea and link to my service provider since i chose the LTE model over the Wi-Fi for convenience.

However I have decided to change to Watch9 model because of the chipset change and battery increase. However, I cannot feel that the QC the Snapdragon wear elite chipset is superior than Exynos W1000. Also the battery increase is just 10mAh. No exterior difference except for the color of back plane. Watch9 is also nice product but I am not sure if it worthes to change the previous model. At least if there is one minor change in the figure, it would be more attractive to distinguish it from previous model. Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from the Galaxy Watch 8. Although it was incremental upgrades, I took the chance. I lokenthe new monitoring features and the use of AI. The watch was pretty much identical in appearance to the Galaxy Watch 8 which I liked. However the only down side was I did accidently drop the watch from about 3 feet and noticed it dented the housing fairly easily. I thought a fall from that high wouldnt have cause such damage. It was my fault as I took off the watch and placed it on a counter top but the velcro on the band got stuck to my sleeve and when I pulled away the watch fell. Thought it would take more to dent the housing but I was wrong. Otherwise it still functions as it should. The other down side is my Galaxy watch 6 charger didnt work on the watch 9. It says it isn't supported. I thought it wouod still work since it worked on my watch 8 (in slow charging mode) but it didnt. Overall still a great watch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've upgraded my Galaxy watch every year since my all time favorite, the Watch Active 2. The Watch9 may just be my new favorite. I chose the 44mm size for the biggest possible battery. Im so happy it doesn't require charging every day! I wasn't super excited about the "squircle" design change but this time I got black and it looks really sharp. I rely on the health monitors daily and I appreciate how long the blood pressure monitor works before needing to be recalibrated. It has all the health monitors I regularly rely on and several more. The new sport band still feels like sport, while looking more traditional. This watch is a winner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Galaxy Wstch 9 is my third Samsung Watch. I chose this one to replace my Galaxy Watch. I preferred the bezel operation of my previous watch. I also preferred the ability to use 3rd party watchbands - the watch 9 has a unique proprietary connection. The charger is awkward, too. The cord is not long enough, and the cord is not replaceable. There is a limited number of watch faces available, hopefully this will improve with time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the watch 7 40mm bt and the battery life was getting short, barely making a day, with gps turned off. It was time to upgrade. I chose the same version in the Galaxy watch 9 40mm Bluetooth. First thing I noticed was they changed the wrist strap. Went back to one that doesn't tuck inside and requires a loop to contain the tail. I kind of preferred the one that tucked in. Both were considered the sport strap style. Once it was setup i did notice that it seemed faster, switching screen was quick and apps loaded quick. I do like some of the new health stats it has. It has not been a week yet so some are still "calibrating", it says. Overall it was worth the upgrade from a 7 to 9.

So when it came time to replace my aging GW6, I chose the Galaxy Watch 9 over the Watch Ultra because my wrists are on the smaller side. I am very happy I did because this watch looks great. It's significantly slimmer and lighter than my previous watch, and it's incredibly comfortable to wear. Performance-wise, it is blazing fast when navigating the UI, and the screen is bright and beautiful. It is packed full with lots of health monitoring features, which is important for people my age. It's also easy to swap bands on this watch so you can dress it up for any occasion. The design is even more beautiful in person, and I've received numerous compliments and inquiries about the watch. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase, and I'm happy I chose the Galaxy Watch 9.

The watch is light. I wore it to sleep without any issue for a week now. I saw reviews saying the charging is slow but I don't expect it to be THAT slow. Used it on a charger that works with Watch 8 but the watch said it's incompatible. Have to use the charging puck that came with it for now.

I also chose the Misty Blue band and I really like the look. I am Super happy with the improvements in the GPS response when I start a workout. I feel like the profile is a little lower but it has a more Square or Boxy look. So far everything is working great. I also chose the Misty Black band and I also like this look. I have the small medium band and wear it on the 4 th whole but sometimes place it at the 5 th hole.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this smart watch due to my dr recommendation that I get a watch that can monitor sleep apnea and ecg for tachycardia. I like that it includes metabolic monitoring and antioxidant levels. The bad is the battery. The first day I had it have every feature turned on to see what the life was like. I was at 100% when I put it on at bedtime and in 24 hours it was down to 25%. Today I turned off constant hr function and put on battery saving 11:30 pm last night to 6 pm tonight it is down to 64% so much better with power saving turned on. At that rate it may make it almost 2 days without a charge. I would prefer at least 3 days but its not a deal breaker for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biggest change right off the bat for me is that I no longer have thr rotating bezel like I had with the Watch 6 Classic. It is going to take getting use to not have that. I also miss the more defined buttons. That being said set up was smooth. It is fast and has many new features that I will enjoy using. I got the fabric band, which is very comfortable. My only complaint with it is that it is not easy to get it to charge with my Samsung trio charger. Probably going to look at a different band. I am sure that as I spend more time with the Watch 9, it will become just as comfortable and useful as my Watch 6 Classic has been.

The battery life is a bit low and the responsiveness of the screen and UI has always felt a bit delayed, but otherwise I've had no complaints with the Gen 8. I mainly use it for health tracking and exercise tracking while listening to music or audio books. The upgrade to the Galaxy watch 9 seems to be marginal at best. It has slightly better battery life and has a slightly snappier feel to the UI overall, otherwise it maintains the strengths of the 8th gen and remains very comfortable and practical. I love the idea of the Galaxy watch ultra and it's much larger battery, but I prioritize the slim design and much reduced weight compared to the ultra model.

I couldn't be more happier. the watch first well with two sliders to keep it snug. The apps transferred from my old watch and had alot of other apps included. The set up was fast and convenient. I couldn't have asked for better experience. I also have the samsung galaxy note 20 5G linked to the watch and I also added a data plan which was awesome because my old one didn't have one and I couldn't get calls unless I had my phone. Now I can receive and make calls without my phone. I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth Galaxy watch dating back to the gear S3 Frontier. My most recent watch was the Galaxy watch 7 which I loved. So far I enjoy the new Galaxy watch 9 but my only complaint is the small band that it comes with is not comparable inside to the Galaxy watch 7. It barely fits my wrist and I will not be faced with having to buy a new watch band when in watches past the small band fit with three to four loops of excess room. Otherwise I really like the fitness of the watch 9 compared to the watch 7 and find that it forms to my wrist so much better. The battery seems to be a little better as well.

The watch is a great upgrade. The only issue is the change in the charger. I have several puk style chargers and they all make the watch say "slow charging." The only charger that doesn't make the watch say that is the one that came with the watch. So, apparently the charger was changed and no new ones are available. I would like to have a few more since this watch needs frequent charging.

The Galaxy Ring has been a nice interim solution, but the new Galaxy Watch 9 fits my aging, boney wrist much better and I'm betting the enhanced software and sensors will ensure better sleep tracking. My wife and I -- both born in the 1940s -- are inveterate fans of all the other health tracking functions available on our Galaxy watches. We're also big fans of Samsung's trade-in program. We were probably among the first to preorder and get the new Watch 9. Ours arrived at 3PM today, August 5, two days earlier than projected. By 5PM our new watches had already recorded the 2,100 steps it took for us to walk to the nearest UPS store where we dropped off our old watches for return to Samsung. Many thanks!

It has a slimmer look and feel, the battery life is noticeably longer, and it's features operate faster. I like to some aspects of my health, so the vitals dashboard is a nice feature. It has a more comfortable feel on my wrist as well compared to the Watch 7. I'm also looking forward to learning and using new features like the built on Gemini AI as well. Overall all it was a great purchase.

She absolutely loves it! He favorite features in general is getting to read and respond to text without pulling her phone out when she is at work. And being able to track her steps since she walks ALOT! The 44mm size offers a big enough screen that she says is the "perfect size" 👌.

The first thing I noticed was how light and comfortable the device felt against my wrist. Coming from the watch 6 classic, this device felt impossibly light and thin. The software of the device was unmatched. From scrolling on the watch to utilizing Gemni, I've noticed no lags so far. That is why I am glad that I chose to upgrade to the galaxy watch 9.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade to the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 because of the new features, and overall, I’m really happy with it! I love the new screen shape and the updated look. The screen and settings are very similar to my previous Samsung watch, which made the transition really easy since I was already familiar with the options and features. If you’re new to Samsung watches, don’t worry—the settings and options are still very easy to figure out. My only issue is the band size. I normally wear the Small/Medium band, and all of my other watches have the S/M size. However, the band that came with the Galaxy Watch 9 is noticeably smaller and did not fit me. I even measured it next to the band from my old watch, and it is definitely smaller. Other than the band sizing issue, I’m really enjoying my Galaxy Watch 9 and the new features. Overall: Love the watch, but Samsung may want to take another look at the S/M band sizing!

Setting up the features that I want to see and use on a daily basis couldn't be simpler than a press of a few buttons. I'm a long time fan of Samsung and their products. My whole home ecosystem is actually Samsung products and with smart things, I can control it all right from my wrist. If you are looking for a watch or wearable that is easy to use with Android, I highly recommend Samsung and the galaxy line of products. They continue to impress me with how seamlessly their products work with each other and the quality of their products. 10/10 would highly recommend to family and friends all the time.

The new Watch 9 has all these features and does not dissapoint. The only caveat however, is its incompatibilty with my two charging watch and phone stands that I have for upstairsand downstairs. I no longer am able to use them for charging my watch. Hopefully the next version will be compatible.

UI is extremely fast, battery was stuck in 57% for almost an hour! And the new bands,elegant but comfy. And my fav feature is the sleep tracker. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly thought about it for a long time before buying my first smartwatch because I wasn't sure how useful it would actually be for me. I'm a barber, and the main reason I wanted one was simply to see notifications for new appointments and cancellations while I'm working without having to constantly check my phone. But after using it, I realized it can do so much more than I expected. I can answer calls when I'm away from my phone, control the music from anywhere in the shop, quickly check the weather, keep track of my heart rate and activity, and stay connected without interrupting what I'm doing. One of my favorite things is being able to go for a run and leave my phone at home. I can listen to my Spotify music right from my watch, which makes running feel so much more comfortable and freeing. I never realized how nice it would be to stay connected and enjoy my music without having to carry my phone everywhere. What surprised me the most is how naturally it became part of my everyday routine. As a barber, my hands are busy most of the day, so being able to access important information right from my wrist is incredibly convenient. This is my first smartwatch, and now I honestly wonder why I waited so long to get one. It has made both my workday and my daily life easier. I can't imagine going back to not having one on my wrist. Definitely one of those purchases you don't realize you need until you have it! ⌚

All have been durable and reliable and I expect no less of the "9". The feel and operation of the watch seems first class and user friendly. The ability to receive notifications and keep my phone silent is priceless. Apps intergrate seamlessly with my watch and the Watch 9 is a valuable extension to my phone. Watch system is very intuitive and convenient to operate and health features can be very valuable to many. Great to keep up with activities such as hiking which I enjoy. Map navigation is also a big plus on this watch. Again, the Galaxy Watch 9 is a great extension of my phone.
