Creating a Samsung Account while setting up your Samsung TV

While setting up your Samsung TV, you can create a Samsung Account by following the on-screen instructions. The registration process is simple and gives you access to a variety of services, including TV apps and smart features.

Note: To enable your Samsung Account, your TV must be connected to the internet.

1 After completing the network setup during the initial setup, you can set up your Samsung account by selecting Start Setup.

2 Scan the QR code on the TV with your phone's camera.

3 Tap Sign it in now when the pop-up window appears.

4 Tap Create account. Or, tap Sign in with Google to use a Google account instead.

5 To proceed with a Google account, select your desired Google account from the list.

6 If prompted, check the list of access requests. Then, swipe to and tap Allow.

7 Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in to your account.
8 If you selected Create account, tap More.

9 Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, Terms of Service, and Samsung account Privacy Notice. Tap Agree.

10 To create an account, simply provide your email address as your login account and then fill out the form. Then, tap Create account.

11 For added security, two-step verification is required. Non-Galaxy phone users can complete this step after creating an account.

12 Enter your phone number and tap Send.

13 Enter the code sent to your phone via the text message.

14 Check your email inbox and select Verify account on the email that is sent.

15 Your Samsung account has been successfully created.

16 Tap Sign in to complete the process.

17 You have successfully logged in to the TV.

18 Next, you can register your credit card. You can also tap Later to stop at this point.

19 Please agree to the terms and conditions and complete the remaining settings according to the TV screen.

20 Once the settings are complete, you can use apps and smart features.
