How to use Maths solver feature in Notes on Galaxy devices

The Maths solver feature in the Notes app is a powerful tool that allows you to solve handwritten or typed math equations using the S Pen or keyboard. Powered by Galaxy AI, this feature provides instant solutions to maths problems, making it a convenient tool for students, professionals, and anyone who needs quick answers.
Note: -
- Screens and Images are simulated.
- This feature is available on devices (such as tablets and phones) that support the handwriting recognition feature. To verify, go to Notes > Settings icon > Advanced > Handwriting recognition.
- Sequences are shortened and simulated.
- To use the Math Solver, ensure the Samsung Notes app is updated through the Galaxy Store.
- The accuracy of the Math Solver depends on handwriting recognition. If handwriting is unclear, it may lead to incorrect solutions, particularly for complex equations.
- As with any AI-based tool, it is essential to use the Math Solver with caution and verify the results independently when necessary.
Steps to use Maths solver in Notes

Open Notes app in Galaxy device

Select an existing note or tap the Create note (pencil icon) to start a new one.

Tap the More options (three vertical dots) icon

To activate the Maths solver*, tap on it.

![enable handwriting recognition then download pack and choose language]()
*If the Maths solver does not appear, ensure that Handwriting recognition is supported on your device. To verify, navigate to Notes > Settings > Advanced > Handwriting recognition. A pop-up will prompt you to download the handwriting recognition pack for this feature. Tap Download and then select your preferred language.
