I noticed instantly the brighter colours ,whick looks much nicer than on my old watch, the screen is also perfect and easy to read in direct sunlight. The battery lasts already longer than my previous Watch, which is brilliant. The watch itself looks really nice and feels comfortable around the wrist . I like the new health features too , the accuracy of the steps and all kind of tracking is impressing comparing it to my old watch. The durability of the Watch so far is fantastic too. I definitely like my upgrade to Watch 9 .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this smart watch due to my dr recommendation that I get a watch that can monitor sleep apnea and ecg for tachycardia. I like that it includes metabolic monitoring and antioxidant levels. The bad is the battery. The first day I had it have every feature turned on to see what the life was like. I was at 100% when I put it on at bedtime and in 24 hours it was down to 25%. Today I turned off constant hr function and put on battery saving 11:30 pm last night to 6 pm tonight it is down to 64% so much better with power saving turned on. At that rate it may make it almost 2 days without a charge. I would prefer at least 3 days but its not a deal breaker for me

I chose the 44mm size for the biggest possible battery. Im so happy it doesn't require charging every day! I wasn't super excited about the "squircle" design change but this time I got black and it looks really sharp. I rely on the health monitors daily and I appreciate how long the blood pressure monitor works before needing to be recalibrated. It has all the health monitors I regularly rely on and several more. The new sport band still feels like sport, while looking more traditional. This watch is a winner

I have had Fitbits since 2020. Thru didn't do much, but suited my needs. I felt the battery wasn't laying very long any more so I decided to move into a real watch.I am enjoying all the bells and whistles on this. The problem is fun comes with a cost. I feel the battery life is trash. I guess I should have looked into battery life a little more. I'm sad to have to reboot it every day. And it takes almost 2 hours to charge. I have turned off several of the features, but isn't that why you buy this product? So many things are battery hogs.

After considerable consideration and talks with my fiancée, it became clear to us that it was. I previously had the galaxy watch 7, and honestly I was amazed with how well it worked. There were somethings I missed out on that the new models had but wasnt a big issue for me. If you can get a major discount on the watch like I did, the galaxy watch 9 is EASILY worth it. Im not too sure how it holds up against the 8, but I havent been let down. Also the battery life on this thing is really good so far. Thats with all the settings turned on and it lasts 2 days on a single charge.

All have been durable and reliable and I expect no less of the "9". The feel and operation of the watch seems first class and user friendly. The ability to receive notifications and keep my phone silent is priceless. Apps intergrate seamlessly with my watch and the Watch 9 is a valuable extension to my phone. Watch system is very intuitive and convenient to operate and health features can be very valuable to many. Great to keep up with activities such as hiking which I enjoy. Map navigation is also a big plus on this watch. Again, the Galaxy Watch 9 is a great extension of my phone.

It is going to take getting use to not have that. I also miss the more defined buttons. That being said set up was smooth. It is fast and has many new features that I will enjoy using. I got the fabric band, which is very comfortable. My only complaint with it is that it is not easy to get it to charge with my Samsung trio charger. Probably going to look at a different band. I am sure that as I spend more time with the Watch 9, it will become just as comfortable and useful as my Watch 6 Classic has been.

It's a nice watch with a curated design, great features, and solid connectivity. However, when it comes to the battery, you need to know what you're getting into. With the bundled cable and an original Samsung charger, the best I could achieve is 1 hour and 40 minutes for a full charge. That is ridiculously slow considering the battery barely lasts 24 hours! Because it's supposed to handle continuous tracking like sleep monitoring, it becomes a major hassle to plan your day around charging downtime. Coming from the Watch Fit 2 - which lasted 3–4 days and recharged in about 30 minutes - I expected a flagship Watch 9 to perform at least comparably. Instead, this higher-end device is roughly four times slower to charge than a lower-end model. If you rely on round-the-clock tracking, think twice before buying.

It is early days in usimg these and some require a number of days baseline data before can fully use but.looking forward to moniotoring my health/activity with these functions. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the main reason I choose the galaxy watch 9 is the new snapdragon wear elite chip. older models could be slow, but this one is super fast and loading apps is way better. the screen is crazy bright outside hitting 3000 nits. the design kept that squircle cushion shape, and it's super lightweight with an aluminum case. it doesn't bother me at all wearing it all day on a job site. the health tracking is solid too. it tracks my vitals and gives coaching to help me sleep better. the battery life is just okay, mostly lasting about a day, but the overall speed boost makes it worth it.

Dont like the sports strap, it isn't as comfortable as the old design. Dont like how the watch face is taller than the base. Think it will be knocked and scratched easily Battery seems to be a bit better than my watch so far Ive only had it a few days and already had to restart it as my screen was laggy and sometimes stayed blank Overall it looks nice but not as comfortable as my watch 6

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this watch. I bought the watch 9 40mm after having a watch 6 for a couple of years. The battery on the watch 6 was not very good and I would struggle to get through the day and evening without having to go onto power saving. I went to bed last night after wearing the watch 9 for 17 hours and saw that I still had 72 percent battery. Also it is nice and flat on my wrist and feels comfortable to wear. The display is colourful and clear. The only downside is my older chargers do not work with the watch 9 and it is hard to get hold of the new chargers at the moment.

With my brain injury I hardly keep in touch with anybody I know because I don't have the wherewithal to pick up my phone and text or call someone but with the watch I chose from Samsung I am able to feel a little more safe knowing that my watch can always bring me back home.

The 9 has a new shape and like it compared to my watch 7. So far my only complaint has been the watch band. I liked on my Watch 7 that it tucked inside and you didn't see the extra slack, the watch 9 is more like a traditional watch band. Other than that it has been good. The battery seemed to drain fast on day 1 but hopefully that was part of the getting the watch set up. It was easy set up to transfer everything from my old watch to my new one.

Because of this the battery doesn't last as long and I'm having to charge this way more. If you've already got a Samsung watch I don't know if this is much of an upgrade

The latest watch is more comfortable than last years model and comes in a dark graphite color again. I enjoy the variety of features available and the depth of the customization. My only complaint as of this writing is that 3rd party chargers are not working with the Watch 9. Chargers that work fine with the Watch 8. I've looked online and there are many complaints of the same issue. Hopefully a software update is all that's needed to resolve. 4/5 *

However I have decided to change to Watch9 model because of the chipset change and battery increase. However, I cannot feel that the QC the Snapdragon wear elite chipset is superior than Exynos W1000. Also the battery increase is just 10mAh. No exterior difference except for the color of back plane. Watch9 is also nice product but I am not sure if it worthes to change the previous model. At least if there is one minor change in the figure, it would be more attractive to distinguish it from previous model. Thanks.

It's super lightweight, and the band's comfortable enough for all-day (even overnight) wear. Speed-wise it's snappy, no lag scrolling through menus or opening apps. Fitness functionality is solid, blood pressure, heart rate, steps, workouts, all tracked well and the accuracy has genuinely surprised me compared to other watches I've used. Would recommend if you're after something reliable for everyday and workouts alike.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose and have been wearing the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 for a bit now, and honestly, it is a great tech upgrade even if it looks exactly like the old one. Samsung basically kept the same design but swapped out all the internals, and you feel that difference the second you start using it. The biggest change is how fast it is. The new Snapdragon chip makes navigating around the menus incredibly smooth, with zero lagging or stuttering. The screen is also shockingly bright now. I had no issues reading texts outside in the middle of a bright day. They also finally gave the smaller 40mm version a bigger battery, so you can actually get through a full day and a whole night of sleep tracking without worrying about it dying. On the health side, it does a lot more passive tracking now, giving you a heart health score and watching your vitals overnight to spot any weird trends.

The watch features are a big improvement from the previous models. The interface is smooth and the watch is considerably slimmer than other digital watches but it’s still a bit too bulky on my wrist. The battery also claims to last almost 30 hours and I’m going to test that out! Very excited to try out the new running coach and antioxidant features!!

The battery life is a bit low and the responsiveness of the screen and UI has always felt a bit delayed, but otherwise I've had no complaints with the Gen 8. I mainly use it for health tracking and exercise tracking while listening to music or audio books. The upgrade to the Galaxy watch 9 seems to be marginal at best. It has slightly better battery life and has a slightly snappier feel to the UI overall, otherwise it maintains the strengths of the 8th gen and remains very comfortable and practical. I love the idea of the Galaxy watch ultra and it's much larger battery, but I prioritize the slim design and much reduced weight compared to the ultra model.

I initially got it just to track my steps and to go with my S22 Ultra back then. But when I realized it could do so much more, I pretty much never took it off. It tracked everything from my steps, heart rate, sleep, stress, and my workouts. Then, when the S26 Ultra came out, I knew I was gonna upgrade to the Galaxy Watch 9. I can't wait to track my fitness with the Galaxy watch 9

It was so easy to set up and navigate through all the features and options. Will definitely be using all the health options like sleep, blood pressure, heart health, workout options. I love how smooth it is to operate and love the thinnest of the watch itself. The smooth and soft sport wristbands helps to get the watch nice and snug on your wrist. The display is so nice and clear just love everything about this watch!

The first time I put the watch on, I was very surprised by how flush it sat against my wrist. I was also very surprised by how quickly I was able to set it up and have all of the new health features put into place right off the bat. So far, the battery life seems like it's going for a good amount of time. I've had it running for about 24 hours, and the battery is still going strong. Time will tell, no pun intended, how long the battery will actually last based on usage and health features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking watch this is my 3rd over the years good quality connection with no problems battery as goid as others getting 2 days before re charging the display is good slightly different from others always used my own photos on a slide show apparently on the 9 it dosnt do that just stays on one photo if wanto change have to tap watch face

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and enjoyed the Samsung 7 watch and decided it was time to upgrade to the Samsung 9 with a larger battery and improved micro processor it is what we liked about the 7 and better. Clearer image for viewing and faster response in managing apps. We very happy with the noticeable improvements made to the 9 and recommend the upgrade.
