The Stainless Steel color is gorgeous and I love the fingerprint free coating. This is 5 to 6 cu ft larger than our old one. I stock both sided and still have room for more! I love the adjustable shelves, the sleek modern look as well as how well it works. It almost works too well! We haven't figured out "how to keep the freezer freezing so well," and the fridge keeping everything so ice cold! The main thing I miss is having the ice and water available from the door. It took way too long for me to remember this and stop going to the door to fill up!

The LEDs are nice and bright in the fridge and freezer. Adding the fridge to my smart home was easy using the Smartthings app. You're also able to control the temperature and get alerts if the doors are left open, which is great if you have kids. I recommend turning on the power cool and power freeze settings in the app. The fridge reached the set temp within a few hours and the freezer took about a day to reach 0 degrees. Overall this is an amazingly sleek fridge that would look great in any kitchen.

I am so pleased I would buy this again, if given the choice. Its not noisy, It keeps food and drinks cool. I appreciate the larger than average freezer door compartment- they are large enough to fit takeaway box containers! I love the vacation setting and door alarm. Things that could be improved is the egg tray. Whilst you can fit more eggs in. Being used to the traditional egg tray design, I worry I will crack an egg eventually. That said that is yet to happen. Also the fridge door compartments would benefit from a dedicated bottle drinks section which would have a deeper tray than the rest. This design would ensue bottle drinks champagne etc feel more secure

I bought this refrigerator and it was installed 6 days ago. The ice maker barely produces any ice, and the cubes are teeny. The ice tray only makes 8 small cubes at a time, and I was told that it's specified to drop one tray of ice every 3 hours... I am 60 years old, and NEVER in my life have owned a fridge with an ice maker that can't produce enough ice for two people on a daily basis. Ive always regarded Samsung as a top notch appliance company. Never will I make this mistake again, Samsung has lost my business. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS REFRIGERATOR.

Capacity - roomy with plenty of space on both sides, fridge and freezer. Cooling - there is a different temperature setting for easy side. The temperature is cools as desired on both sides. Ergonomics - I really like the indented side door handles. Makes it very easy to open the doors. Inside drawers are easy to pull and push. Frost - the freezer side freezes without worrying about frost on the food. There is no humidity in the freezer side. Smudge - the stainless steel does not show any smudging. Entertainment hub - this is the feature that is most impressive. I can connect to the internet and watch videos, listen to music, download numerous apps, watch my ring cameras, enter calendar reminders, jot down notes and connect to Alexa!!

The fridge looks luxurious and the LED lights make it extra nice. It is sleek and modern looking. It makes me want to remodel my kitchen now. I have it hooked up with the water line and get my ice made and ready to go by the ice maker. My family loves that there is much more room and it’s easy to find things with the many shelves it has. Also we love the alarm that sounds when the door has been open too long. This way I can yell at the kids to hurry and make their decision or close the door if they forgot for some reason. It is also easy to wipe off any fingerprints. There tends to be many when the little kids are constantly touching it.

First off, this fridge is amazing! I am beyond pleased and so excited that I was able to get this. The delivery and installation was easy also. I have needed a new fridge for almost a year. My old one was too small, plus it was slowly dying. I wanted one that of course, had a larger cu ft capacity, and more sleek and modern. Along came this gorgeous Samsung beauty! I chose this fridge for several reasons. It is very sleek, modern, and sophisticated at the same time. The black stainless steel is beautiful and does not show smudges or fingerprints- it is so easy to clean too! It is able to hold everything I need and then some. I even have room in the freezer to add more if needed which is a nice change. I also love the recessed handles in the doors. I actually love the design more than I thought I would. The controls are easy to read and use. This fridge reminds you if you've left the door(s) open, or didn't put the ice bucket back correctly. Very nice feature. I do use special produce bags to help, but in my old fridge I would only get 2 extra days. Now, some last a week or 2. I love that I am saving money!The only con is that it freezes too well! I am still trying to figure out how to lower the temp. Right now, I clean the ice bucket out every 1 to 2 weeks to avoid having a frozen "block" of ice in the bucket. It is a nice change not having to worry about our food being cold enough. I am very, very happy with this. I have always loved Samsung products and will continue to purchase Samsung brand for my large and small appliance needs. he only con is that it freezes too well! From the outside of the fridge you cannot tell just how much space is available inside. One of the best things is how quiet it is. The fridge I had before emitted a constant hum, but this Samsung fridge is almost silent. The ice maker works great too. Being able to use the smart things app is a plus as well. I have already told all my friends and family about this fridge, and I’m pretty sure my brother has one on order.

Si pueden ahorrarse la molestia de comprar samsung haganlo. nos duro un año y 2 meses, obviamente que ya no aplicaba la garantia (a menos que sea el compresor). Nadie compra un refrigerador para que le dure tan poco tiempo, no son eternos pero es una groseria que te dure apenas el año. Lo único que podían hacer por nosotros era mandar un técnico para verificar si es compresor, mismo que por cierto no es nada barato y además tardan días en responder sus mensajes y mientras tanto ¿quien batalla sin refrigerador? pues samsung no, ellos facilito se lavan las manos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the look of his fridge. I love the fact that it actually has no handles that stick out on the outside. To open the door You have to put your hand inside I slot in the middle which Will not cause fingerprints to touch the front of the doors. Inside the fridge there's plenty of room on the refrigerator side to store many of the various size items that I have come across. I like that there is an ice maker inside and it doesn't show on the outside to keep the sleek look of the flat front. The freezer is a tad small but I do have a separate freezer to keep my frozen food in storage. I do like that the water filter is on the bottom of the fridge. This will allow me to change the filter and not have to move food around. The LED lighting is bright on the inside of the fridge. I do like the 2 minute door alarm to alert me when my children leave the door open.

after about a month, this model refrigerator broke and the panel is now flashing with error codes. we waited about a full week before buying groceries and now the refrigerator is full of stakes, fresh seafood and perishable food/ items. now we have to throw it all away. not sure when the technician will arrive and no idea if we have to wait months for parts!!!

This fridge freezer is really spacious and good looking.I got rid of my fridge freezer after buying this.The doors can be detached which will help in fitting tight spaces while installation.Really spacious and productive and will save you energy from using multiple appliances.Great product and I recommend this!!!

I returned the Whirlpool fridge and did a little more research before deciding on this Samsung side-by-side stainless fridge. It is very roomy and nicely lit with LED lights. It connects to wifi so I can check its status on my iPhone! If the door is left open, it will prompt me on my phone and the door alarm will also sound! It also shows the fridge and freezer temperature. It keeps steady temperatures well and runs very quietly. Stainless steel body is plus! It is easy to clean and practically looks clean by itself. I like it and my wife likes it even more and that is what counts!

I really like this model's door type without handle . It gives the sleek and classy look. I prefer to buy without handle in future too. The monitoring through the Wi-Fi app is handy as it allows changing the temperature by remote and can also alert the owner when a door is opened. It's also capable of turning the ice maker on or off via the app. The built-in controls are located on the right side of the door frame and display the current status of the fridge and freezer. Coming to the shelves , they are not adjustable . Four racks and two large bins provide more space than my older one. The shelves are deeper . The door has bins throughout . They are wider and space. In freezer door they left the bottom without bin. In side by side model , only drawback is we can't keep large frozen packs like pizza as it is . We need to keep it diagonally . Overall I am so happy with the purchase. The installation also went like a breeze . I recommended this model to my friends who were looking for a budget friendly appliances.

My mom loves organization! It also has an app so we can monitor the temp and our favorite....when the door is open! We have had fun yelling downstairs to close the fridge, which confused my Grandpa for about a week how we knew he was in there!! It's also has an alarm that goes off after 2 mins of the door being open! We are also able to set the temp of the fridge and freezer from our phones!! You can also remotely do a "Power Freeze" and "Power Cool" which is fantastic if you lose power an aren't home. You can monitor temp and do a faster cool down of needed, once power is back on. Another thing I love is how effortless and quietly the drawers open and close!! The lightning is magnificent! It illuminates the entire inside so you don't have dark areas and helps you to easily locate your items. The fingerprint resistant doors do seem to smudge and leave spots, marks but it is "resistant ", not "fingerprint proof". The design is sleek and modern which makes it the highlight of our older kitchen, but fits in perfectly and classes the place up. Oh, also, it is sooooo quiet! My family and I are loving our new refrigerator. Samsung has done it again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This low key clean black stainless steel fridge doesn't distract and performs simply and cleanly. The design is modern and super clean cut. It fades into the background easily but when you inspect it up close, it appears quality to your eyes and feels very premium to your touch. This thing is deceptively large and fits a lot of items although you wouldnt think it coming from a top and bottom fridge. The only drawback would be if you are used to being able to fit wide things inside the fridge such as a large cake in its box or a large pizza box, this would not allow for it. However, the benefits far outshine. Here are some of my favorites Favorite features: Fingerprint-resistant, despite constantly opening and closing these doors, the light does not reflect and highlight fingerprints. The number of adjustable shelves which allow me to keep my drinks organized in the fridge and my different kinds of frozen meat/fish separate in the freezer. The adjustments allow me to fit different sized wine bottles and maximize the storage capacity. Samsung Hub access, allowing smart notifications. Controlling temperature. Sound notification when fridge is not closed all the way. Ice box being up top on the left side instead of in the freezer bin in a top and bottom fridge where you have to bend down and get ice. THe ice bin also can be easily removed to fill an entire cooler much more easily. It can also be remotely turned on and off by the samsung app.

I just wanted something with a smooth front. This fridge has a lot of room and does a great job as a refrigerator and freezer. I love how bright the interior LED lighting is and also the 2-Minute Door Alarm, that lets you know when the door has been open for too long. I also downloaded the Samsung SmartThings App to control the temperature and monitor your refrigerator remotely. It is kinda cool but not something I will probably use often. I could see it being useful for someone with kids so that they could get alerts when the door is left open. Overall, I am very happy with this appliance. The only thing to note is that it does collect fingerprints.

We didn't want an ice/water dispenser in the door because we rarely used it and considered it a waste of space. This Samsung is as far as we can see the only that meets this requirements. It's got a huge amount of room on the non freezer side. It's an excellent, well made refrigerator. NEGATIVE NOTES: - 1.) The ice is an 8.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. The speed of making ice is OK, but not great. In addition, once full you will to hear it go on & off trying to make ice. Why doesn't it simply shut off. 2.) The cord during shipping is secured to the top of top with a SCREW!!! Yes, and you get a whole in your refrigerator. 3.) The help line while adequate is really slow. I would give it a 7.

There is so much room and the convenient and see thru shelving makes it easy, even for the shortest in the house to see everything (which is me lol). I was leary about a side by side and how the freezer would actually work and I have to say, I am impressed. I have a spot for everything, it holds way more than my previous freezer and no more standing with the door open, digging! The lightning in both sides is great and the shelves are easy to clean. The refrigerator is sleek and modern looking and fits well in even an older kitchen. It really makes the kitchen look better! While it is fingerprint resistant, some will be noticeable but they are super easy to wash off. I recommend downloading the app right away so you can easily set the temperature. I did have trouble trying to adjust the temperature manually, inside of the fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am SO pleased with the purchase of the RS28A500ASG refrigerator. Sleek Beautiful is what I call my fridge. It is modern with a sleek appearance. The amount of space that it contains is amazing and makes organizing the food so much easier. It has plenty of shelves as well as the flat door design and the “hidden” handles makes the appearance of the fridge flow with the layout of my kitchen. The smudge proof / fingerprint resistant exterior is a BIG winner on this one as well. The few fingerprints that I have seen were so easy to remove with a dry cloth. The freezer is also spacious and has plenty of shelves and storage to store all of my frozen foods. I am SO pleased with the ice maker; it does not take up a lot of room and I love the detachable ice bucket! The interior lighting is a plus because it makes it very easy to see everything clearly. I am truly happy with this purchase.

It occasionally would randomly decide to defrost and then when it kicked back on, the melted ice would freeze causing the freezer draw to not close properly and our fridge would heat up. We dealt with that for 2 years before I decided enough was enough. This fridge so far has been profection. The delivery drivers were kind and efficient with setting it up and it runs as it should. I haven't had to worry about the temperature fluctuating and having the app give alerts is very handy. I almost forgot how a refrigerator is supposed to act like. Thanks, Samsung for reminding me.

Love the black steel finish not a heavy gloss paint finish, so quite as we have open plan kitchen living room so do not hear a sound from it, Interior is excellent storage and easy clean, looking forward to Christmas to stuff it full with seasons delights as it has more then enough room for it. I have a French door Fridge as well, but they just don't compare to a normal side by side for ease of seeing what's in your Fridge and having bigger items stored without moving shelves. It is a perfect beer and frozen foods Fridge overall. I love the smart things app because I can check to see the temp without actually having to go outside and I know if someone accidentally left the door open because the alarm sounds off, which is super convenient. It stays frosty cold and the light is super bright to help me see in the dark garage. I can see everything in the fridge because the lights are bright from top to bottom, which helps when it starts to get full. Most importantly, the outside looks great. The stainless steel doesn't show fingerprints, which I thought was impossible, but you really don't see fingerprints. 10/10 would recommend it!

Refrigerator died after 1.5 years from date of purchase due to a failure of the sealed system. Samsung is trying to claim that the refrigerator is out of warranty even though their own warranty documents explicitly state that parts and labor of the sealed system are covered for 5 years. The only silver lining is that this is a fairly straightforward case for small claims court. Filed today and am expecting to get the prorated value of the refrigerator. I would highly recommend that all prospective buyers avoid Samsung products. In my experience, they are not built to last and Samsung will not honor their warranty agreements as written.

Stylish looking, spacious and quiet as a mouse during operation. Removable ice maker. However it has a few shortcomings. Non adjustable shelfs inside both doors and internally. Yip fixed positions. Lack of adjustment on the doors. The fridge door can go up and down...not the freezer door. Despite having spent ages levelling the floor, front to back, side to side and corner to corner the gapping between the doors cannot be fully aligned despite my best efforts. It is frustrating that Samsung think the limited adjustment is adequate...let me tell you it is not

I’ve been really impressed with the Samsung 28 cu. ft. Smart Side-by-Side Refrigerator. It has a sleek, modern stainless steel design that looks great in the kitchen, and it cools everything down quickly. The interior is spacious and easy to organize, making it simple to keep everything in its place. One of my favorite features is the built-in wine cooler, which is a great bonus for entertaining. The ice maker is also excellent—it produces ice quickly and keeps up with daily use without any issues. Overall, it’s an awesome refrigerator that combines style, smart organization, and great performance.The smart features are great as well.

pesima compra, de las peores inversiones que he hecho, dejo de funcionar, despues empezo a chorrerar agua, los centros de servicio autorizados no estan capacitados para arreglar las fallas, llevo 3 compresores que cambian y sigue sin funcionar, 5 meses y no lo arreglan, ahora resulta que hubo un error en el diagnostico, jamás vuelvo a comprar un producto samsung , no lo recomiendo para nada

I like the clean lines with the smooth front and there is a lot of room in the fridge and freezer. The LED lighting is nice and bright and there is also an alarm if you leave the door open too long. I also like the app so that I can monitor the fridge settings. Overall, I like this refrigerator but I have noticed a few things. It does have an issue with fingerprints and the metal dents easily. Overall, it is a nice, clean look fridge and I do like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new refrigerator. It is roomy and there is a spot for everything. The doors allow for storage gallons of milk and juice. The drawer hold a weeks worth of fresh produce. The shelves are larger and allow for easy access to everything. The icemaker is in the door which frees up an entire shelf in the freezer. It keeps up with the ice demand and we have quit buying bags of ice. There are enough shelves in the freezer that everything is organized and in plain sight. The only thing I would change is the ice access. We gave a designated scoop. I recommend this refrigerator for anyone who needs a new roomy refrigerator.

About the only few of negatives I see right away is the lack of deli bin, and lack of butter bin in door, i wish there were some shelf adjustments that could be made, my tea pitcher does not fit on shelf because of top of lid (it fit fine on 2 other refrigerators), still do not have a gallon of milk to see how it would fit (i know they expect it to go in door however I do NOT want my milk or my tea pitcher in door rack), bottom vegetable bin as well as freezer bottom drawer have very little room because of design of water filter for veggi bin?

You have to have really dirty hands to notice any fingerprints on it. I'm still adjusting the refrigerator temperature once in a while to get the perfect temperature. It cools really well. The ice maker is working great and making ice quickly. I haven't used the wifi much with it, just connected it and checked out the app a couple times. I'm glad I bought it. Hopefully I'll have it for many years.

I don’t love the warning beep it gives you when the door is open but I suppose that would be great for someone who is forgetful. I love the look of the model as well , it has a lot of room and holds enough food for this family of six! The only complaint I have is the ice maker… for some reason it stops working for periods of time and I have downloaded the app and it trouble shoots it and nothing is wrong with it. You push the test button and nothing happens. Then all of a sudden it works for a bit then again the same thing.

We’ve been using this Samsung side-by-side fridge for a few months now, and it excels in a few key areas. From an aesthetics standpoint, the sleek design and clean lines completely upgraded our kitchen look. The capacity is excellent; the freezer and fridge sides are deceptively spacious and fit our weekly groceries easily. In terms of preservation, our fruits and vegetables stay remarkably fresh in the crispers, and the multi-vent cooling keeps everything evenly chilled. It's also surprisingly quiet, which speaks to its energy efficiency. Lastly, the interior is incredibly easy to wipe down and keep clean, making hygiene maintenance a breeze. Very happy with this purchase!

I wanted to love this fridge… it is the only side by side model that isn’t stainless steel and doesn’t have an ice maker on the front. But all the other negative reviews are right. The veggie drawer freezes all my veggies. Anything in the back of the fridge gets frozen too. But the door items are too warm (my cream cheese is always soft). And the ice maker makes cubes but also ice shavings so I have to defrost it regularly or it gets full of the shavings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought this fridge after my old one the compressor failed on - this fridge is HUGE - I can fit pretty much everything in it - the wifi access is neat in that I can adjust the temps from my app - I did have to finagle with the temp settings as at the recommended settings my fridge was still till cold and was freezing stuff in the veggie drawers - love the icemaker and that it makes great ice - so far haven't had to change the filter yet.

After only 1.5 years, my Samsung refrigerator is rusting, yet they refuse warranty service by labeling this corrosion as "cosmetic damage". Other appliances in the same environment show no wear. I am seeking a solution for this, as I believe it is a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear, and I've already tried complaining to them and they are refusing the warranty - they advertise a 2 year warranty but find anything to refuse it

We like the open and easy-to-access interior. It took a while for the refrigerated side to get down to the proper temperature but has maintained it very well ever since. Also having the ice maker in the door frees up a lot of room in the freezer that was taken up in our previous unit. Overall we are quite pleased!

A very well designed fridge. We mainly wanted one without a water tap or ice maker. The overall volume/capacity of this model is much larger than similarly sized models from other brands. Having the shelves on the doors is also a bonus as its easier to see and identify what is in there. It is also noticeably quieter than our previous fridge freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have all Samsung appliances and this fridge did not disappoint. Extremely quite excellent ice maker great easy to clean shelving . The styling is great very contemporary. The fingerprint proof stainless finish is a great improvement over our older stainless fridge that always seemed to have handprints. We are very pleased with our purchase .

We looked at so many of these American style fridge freezers and 100% happy we have made the right decision. Great design and looks good in our kitchen. Spacious inside and well set out. Happy to find a side by side fridge freezer without a water or ice dispenser which gives us more internal space. Also very quiet (unlike our last one)

Amazing American styled fridge freezer, lots of storage space in both the freezer and fridge sections. Great featured ice maker too which can be easily removed if you feel it's taking up space but a great device instead of having space being taken up with a plumbed ice maker. Lovely LED lights in both sections too, highly recommend

I have to keep throwing away all my fruits and vegetables because they end up freezing. It freezes everything else. The fridge temp is at the highest but still continues to freeze. There is nothing blocking the airways in the back. The refrigerator itself is nice and beautiful.

We're really happy with our new fridge! It's very big and spacious, and feels like a big upgrade from our previous fridge (with a single door). A nice mix of lots of different shelves, drawers and compartments. We didn't have any ice maker or water features - so it's very easy to install - just plug it in and good to go. As other reviews have noted - the shelves are not very flexible, I think only one of them can be moved up or down. And if you're getting the black version of the fridge - the doors are a different colour to the sides (which are dark grey rather than black).

This fridge freezer is much better and more advanced with improved features. Its also easy to clean. Since its a new fridge freezer, not sure how it will perform in few years! But so far, I am loving my new fridge freezer. Ample of space inside. Very sleek design.
