From switching from the s series of samsung phones to the z series, the experience I've had on the phone so far has been excellent and offers a different experience to the s series at no drawbacks. The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

As a fan of foldables the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra finally brings everything together. The battery is big and reliable, so you’re not constantly watching the percentage. The crease is still technically there, but it’s finally at the point where you mostly forget about it. Durability feels much better thanks to the titanium structure and tougher overall design. The hinge is smoother, sturdier, and just satisfying to use. The responsiveness makes the whole phone feel fun and fast every time you open it. If you already love foldables or have been waiting for one that feels “ready” for everyday life, the Z Fold 8 Ultra really does feel like that milestone device.

My first fold phone and I love it. I've been with Samsung since the very first Galaxy phone. This phone is very thing and much lighter than my S24 Ultra. It opens a whole new way of using a phone. Unfolded you can multitask with more apps open and with some apps expanding further. I can't praise this phone enough and there's no way I could go back to a slab phone. The outer display isn't quite as wide and the hight of my S24 Ultra but it's not much. I expect this will eventually change in future models My life cycle with phones is 2 year it'll be Fold 10 for me.

I have to say I was a bit sceptical moving from an S24 Ultra to a Fold 8 Ultra, especially without holding it or playing with it. I was gobsmacked when I actually received it. Plenty of discount on launch day and great trade in value (plus some Bud 4 pros thrown in for free- big upgrade to my Bud 3 pro). So the Fold. Well it's just awesome. I love the form factor and find it so great to use. Especially reading websites or email. Also watching YouTube. So glad I went Fold. Super responsive and light.

The size of the phone when closed feelings like the size of normal non fold phone and makes it easier to type and utilise its functions to the maximum. The phone is a lot thinner and less bulky than previous models making it absolutely perfect. The upgraded cameras are a huge bonus and makes it worth every penny. The screen and sound quailty is phenomenal and watching films or playing games is amazing. I wish it had a stylus but that doesn't take away from how great this phone is. Love the violet colour as well.

Came from the Fold7. I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

The phone that suits many purposes from everyday phone use on the main external screen to streaming videos, gaming or work/studying on huge internal screen. The crease is not really noticeable at all when in use ans only visable really from a side view. The hinge feels solid and well made, it does not feel like it will break at any point. The Z Fold8 Ultra responds just as quick as any other flagship Galaxy phone. The main camera is also just as good as the standard Galaxy Ultra range. Bring a bigger battery ensures that the phone stands up against time and lasts just as long as a conventional phone under normal use and if you are streaming or gaming consistently you also get enough battery you would expect. I think increasing the wireless charging to be as fast as the standard Galaxy range would of been ideal but it still charges quick enough. Wired charging again is fast.

The battery level is good, much better than my s23 ultra. I find the device quite durable despite it's looks of being fragile. The phone is super responsive, however I find this with most samsung devices. Overall the crease and hinge a lot is made of it however i find it totally fine. It is my first folding phone and have to say I am slowly seeing some of the benefits.

I absolutely love my new z fold 8 ultra. I love the form factor, the way the crease is almost invisible. The violet colour is gorgeous. I've paired mine with the violet carbon magnet case for a little extra protection. The hinge opens ands closes perfectly. The battery life is superb,lasting almost 2 days from full charge.

Coming from a Fold 5, this feels like a completely different class of phone. Battery life is the biggest change: my Fold 5 would barely make it through a full day, and I was always hunting for a charger by evening. The Fold 8 Ultra actually holds up. The hinge is noticeably smoother, and the main screen crease is much better than the Fold 5's, still visible if you're looking for it, but a real improvement. Responsiveness is a smaller difference, but it's there; everything just feels a touch snappier day to day. The thing I like most, though, is the wider cover screen. On the Fold 5, typing out a quick WhatsApp reply on the outside screen felt cramped, so I'd end up unfolding the phone way more than I should've just to reply to something simple. The Fold 8 Ultra's wider cover screen makes typing and quick replies feel natural without opening it, a small change that makes a real difference day to day. I've only had the 8 Ultra a week, so I can't speak to long-term durability first-hand yet. But I had my Fold 5 since launch with zero issues, so if the 8 Ultra holds up anywhere near as well, I'll be more than happy.

Appears to be very durable , great if you are clumsy. Crease is minimally visible when unfolded. A little bit wide for smaller hands/ pockets but can still be operated one handed
